Bird Descending a Branch

My not-so-subtle reference to the famous Marcel Duchamp painting, "Nude Descending a Staircase".  The Chickadees like to use the Trumpet Vine as a staging site for a dive to the feeder and I caught this one taking off.  Our warm days are done and, although a sunny morning, the temperatures have returned to normal November ones.  Phase two of Operation Wildflower Meadow will commence later this morning as Ethan clears small patches for me to sow the seeds.  John will be here too doing a few more autumn chores and I will put out the snow stakes to mark the drive.  There are whispers about some white stuff coming next week!  It is election day.  I voted early so now it is just a wait and see time.
