LED there be light

A close-up of one of my travel gadgets, a safety light , a flexible portable light which I carried in my camera bag for those times when I needed extra light. It has 12 (4 rows of 3) tiny LED lights (each light is about half a cm high) and three functions. It can either light the middle column only, light up all 12 lights or pulsate all 12 lights on and off (most irritating). The material the lights are on is some kind of flexible plastic in bright orange.
