Stonehaven

For the first time in many months Mrs CBL and I visited Stonehaven a seaside town which is 15 miles south of Aberdeen.

Before our walk we had coffees and scones at Molly’s Café.  It was a first for us tasting peanut butter scones and they were delicious!

We walked along the sea front (see extras) on the boardwalk along  which several metal sculptures made by a local artist (see extras) are on show. Then we wandered round the harbour which is presently undergoing extensive renovations.

Finally we walked up Black Hill to the town’s war memorial.  As you can see in the extras Mrs CBL’s sprint to the top left me toiling way behind!

Back down in the town and a visit to a charity shop to buy Christmas cards supporting a very worthy cause.
