Busy!

Katie has been busy making Xmas tags and cards, for the market!
I made damson chutney, and honey cake for the honey show on Thursday. It’s a tricky recipe to bake well, as it uses only honey to sweeten it. As honey is a liquid with around 20% water, it acts very differently from sugar and tends to make for a heavy result. I have added a bit of extra baking powder and cooked it in a smaller tin, so we shall see what the judges make of it! It smells good anyway.
