“PARTY DRESS”

These TINY flowers are from
ECHEVERIA “Party Dress,” located
in my new front garden. I had my doubts whether this succulent could tolerate
the intense sunshine, but it didn’t flinch.
When it started to get cooler, it started to bloom. Now, I wish we planted more.

When Angus went outside at 5:00AM,
I was amazed that it was still raining. It has continued on & off, all day. In fact, there are flood warnings in LA County. Today reminds me of the cold rain we often got in Michigan, in the late Autumn.
Miserable, in fact, but so wonderful!

Tomorrow, the sun will come out & just maybe, the mountains will turn green.
