Rain!

I woke up at 4 this morning: thank you Pacific Standard Time. It's been a stumble sort of day. Heavy rain last night, and off and on through the day. What a joy to hear reports of three inches overnight, and snow in the mountains!

I had Art Day with a couple friends--we tried gelli plate printing. It's one of those you have to think backwards projects and we are all exhausted. It's hard enough to think forwards. I took a class in this kind of printmaking a few weeks ago, and I think I forgot more than I learned. It is compelling to keep churning out prints, but I'm not sure what happens next.
