Spring in summer

Can't believe how the vegetation has sprung into life this week! Today has been wonderfully warm and sunny. Sat out side at Lady B's in St Ives for lunch with mum and dad and D ( dad's cousin). It was great feeling the sun on bare arms! I didn't take my camera there nor on my dog walk along the canal and river. So I've just spent 10 minutes in the garden having a close look at the plants. I know I need to get out the front and do a bit of tidying up, but for now I saw my Prunus is just coming into flower. Later than usual but who cares . The flowers that are bursting forth seem all the better for the long dark winter we have had.
