We've been visiting Nice for about 11 plus years now and one of our favourite things is to take a picnic up to the Chateau Hill.

For almost every time we have picnic'd we have witnessed this group and their afternoon of chatter and friendship.

It is a delight to watch as they become increasingly animated with the local gossip and the accompanying dogs have great fun chasing each other.

This is a typical Nicoise scene of companionship.
