Paint it white

Our next door neighbours are having their house painted.
All these white houses on our street took on a strong ochre colour during the days that we suffered from the Saharan dust cloud. But I wonder if it would not be better to paint the houses ochre instead of white judging by the frequency of these dust clouds. ;-(
