Blingtastic!

The good news that I was talking about yesterday was that Katy, the diamond queen of legal, got married in Thailand. When she left to go on holiday it was not confirmed that the wedding would definitely take place as it was not booked with a travel agent they were doing all the organising of it themselves. This proved problematic as they had to get documents signed and all the words were obviously written in Thai. She got the receptionist in the hotel to translate the documents which seemed to be legally binding.

On the day, Katy wanted the wedding to take place on the beach as the sun was setting. The ceremony was being performed by Buddhist Monks but unfortunately the chief one was delayed, meaning that the setting sun was going to be further on than planned ..... Katy waited up in the hotel room in the air conditioning while Russell waited for the monks.... Luckily they arrived in time (or at all!!) and the wedding went ahead. How romantic. On the beach, lapping water, white sand, mountains as a backdrop and the setting sun....

I wish them both all the happiness in the world - and hope their love for one another endures no matter what life may throw at them.

i told you her engagement ring was HUGE, here it is showcased along with the wedding ring and the butterfly ring which was bought on the way home in Dubai crafted with diamond chips - I was almost dazzled photographing this today! As Katy said walking back to the office at lunchtime, I am cash poor but diamond rich !!!!
