Gannet searching for prey.

The beach looked SO inviting this morning that i took Lola down there early! It was so quite and peaceful, not a breath of wind, only two other dog walkers miles down the beach. And it was WARM! Although the beach is thin on bird life at this time of year as they are all off breeding there was quite enough to keep me amused.
Lola was learning about (very small!) waves. Gannets were fishing successfully. Glimpsed some terns briefly and then the solo swan. A dog gave chase and swan proved you CAN walk on water when you have great big wings., Just gorgeous!
