Spring ride Day 2

Onboard Arateri for the crossing to the North Island and as can be seen the bikes need to be lashed down as do the trucks but not the cars and motorhomes.
Picton to Wellington is some three hours but with loading and unloading it's probably nearer four. 
Our first night was in Napier a 300 kms ride from Wellington which was achieved in good time with no dramas.
The weather was warm with light winds so pleasant riding conditions.
