Birthday Boy

John is now 70! He's received many presents and cards - all reflecting how well he is respected in both family and external circles.

Friday evening is bellringing practice.  I and another ringer had put the word out, and several ringers from other towers appeared. I had taken cake and bubbly and we all had a lovely time. The ringing had been much better than usual and I was amazed at how, when cornered, I was able to ring things I didn't know I had forgotten. We all had a lovely evening.
Birthday Boy is now watching rugby with a glass of his new whisky in hand!!
