Veterans Day

John is a veteran, from the Vietnam era, though he was never there. After getting his free coffee at Starbucks, ( I had the coffee, he stuck to his usual mocha), we walked on the dike for a bit, hoping to see some fighter jet flyby action. None were scheduled to come our way, North Portland was the closest. These two small planes was the only action we saw. They were probably headed to some celebration.
