WILDFLOWER SURPRISE

There used to be over a dozen trillium plants in the woods, but they are gradually disappearing. I had all but given up when I found this small group of three plants. I felt lucky to find them! Unfortunately we got home too late in the evening for any fading sunlight to help highlight the detail, so this shot was helped along with the flash. I'll experiment tomorow with morning and evening sun to see which gives the best effect.
