This is a Blood Mite

This mite I caught off of one of my Canaries they are the very plague for all birds get them have them. I can just see a spec on the cover moving around but with the microscope I can see those front appendage's in the middle that the mite sticks into the skin and fills it's self up with blood till it falls off.
if you cover a cage with a white sheet( must be white so you can see them ) at night that's when they come out of hiding to feast on the birds.
The next morning you take off the cover carefully and you can see the mites they show up bright red as they are full of blood.
And deal with them as you wish.
second picture if you can see it .
showing the blood in the swollen body..
