Remembrance

My mum came over to Edinburgh today. We had lunch in the cafe at the Portrait Gallery, then a bit of shopping followed by a wander down to West Princes Street Gardens. Walking back towards the station we came across the Garden of Remembrance so stopped briefly. My mum bought a cross to place in the Garden in remembrance of her Great Uncle, Peter, who was killed in the first World War. It is important to remember.
