Brilliant sunshine in pure blue skies, more summer than spring.

This shot a bit of a rush job, on the way into work. Interesting story behind this building is that there was an open competition for architects to submit designs for the new Council House (its name until recently); after all the designs were submitted, the architect who was judging the competition then announced that none of the designs were nearly as good as what he could do, so he came up with this design and declared it the winner. Nice work.

Heavy postprocessing and then a colour tint to hide the fact that I ran out of bit depth and the sky area started to posterize quite badly. I need to get some actual glass filters to put in front of the lens rather than relying on digital post-processing.
