The church on the hill.

Another of our monthly " pilgrimage" walks. Today we walked from Wonersh, a circular walk that took us across Blackheath with views across to St Marthas church. Good to walk, talk and pray together. As it was Armistice day we stopped at the war memorial on the common to remember those service pesonnel who gave up their lives during the conflicts. I also remembered all those caught up in Putins war in Ukraine.
Grateful today for some deep conversations, for time exploring the Surrey countryside and for a day to remember the victims of war.
