On board

We were at the airport in good time for our 3pm Aer Lingus flight to Málaga. The airport experience wasn't at all bad, but the reduced service on the flight was disappointing — no menu for food and drink, so no way of knowing in advance what's available or what it costs. Poor show, really.

Assisted service at Málaga was brilliant. There was one other passenger who needed help and she was dropped off convenient to where here husband had their car parked, after which we were whizzed back, the buggy driver ran inside to identify our pre-booked taxi driver and dropped off right beside his car. The drive to Nerja took about an hour. The taxi driver dropped us off as close as possible to the pedestrianised area and showed us to where to pick up the keys for our apartment. A quick stop to look around our place and out we went for the evening meal our host has booked in advance for us (in Pinnochio restaurant, just a few doors up our steet).
