A Sparkly Web

I spotted this sparkly spider’s  web in our garden today. I had several goes at trying to photograph it…in the end I used manual focus, set the the drive mode to high speed burst, and rocked back and forth with the camera with the shutter button pressed…hoping to catch at least one frame in focus! This was the best one… the web was moving around very slowly which made keeping the camera in parallel with the web a little tricky! It was too high up to be able to use a tripod.

We had lunch out today….at Wetherby Services!! Mrs madwill’s sister and her husband were travelling up to Teeside and they needed to stop off to charge up their car..so we met them at the services and had lunch while the car was plugged in!
