A Fraction of the Dales Way

Had such a good time last night at the bunk barn.
It was really well furnished and so warm.
Lovely food and the crumble went down well.
This morning we packed up the cars then went on a walk along some of the Dales Way ( an 83 mile walk from Ilkley to Windermere) All four us have walked  it at different times, Bridget on her own in snow, Alison running most of it and Di only walked it last week with her husband and youngest daughter.
 Mr P and l did it over twenty years ago and it was one of the best weeks of my life.
Only walked seven miles of it today but oh so enjoyable.
There was mist and clouds as we set off but the sun broke though and it was coats off.
We got back to Bucken and had lunch at the Buck Inn. 
Then made our separate ways back home.
