Essential Kit?

What an unbelievable contrast to yesterday's weather! I wish I had taken a photo of the two builders stripped to the waist and wearing fancy shorts, with the sweat pouring off them in the heat - just to be able to contrast it to today, when they were wrapped up in sweatshirts and day-glo waterproofs!!

The rain didn't stop the action, however, and they worked really hard and long today to progress the new patio. The robust radio is the most essential piece of kit for any workman and that helped them to ignore the weather. They were even dancing in the rain at one point, but stopped when they saw my camera! Spoilsports!!

The rhododendrons are coming out nicely now and adding to the colour in the Spring garden. Hope we'll see the sun again soon:-)
