No crisis here

Hubby has a couple of days off work, nice to have some time together where we’re not at the shop.
Finally got our new hall carpet fitted today after being messed around on dates and availability. The carpet fitters were here at 7.30 and worked efficiently and were gone by 9.30 so had the rest of the day to get a few bits of shopping done.
There were certainly no signs of the cost of living crisis at the garden centre cafe, there wasn’t a table to be had. Loved my mirror chocolate cake, nearly up to Bake Off standard.
