A message to you

Bought myself a bas-ass Flying-V ukelele on the way home from work yesterday. The Yamaha and the Tele have been giving it a hard time all day on account of its size, however I think it's settling in a bit now. Its so weird playing the tiny wee uke compared to the guitars - after about 2 hours of playing the uke, I picked up the acoustic and was astonished at how large and heavy it felt. Still got a bit more practising to do before I attempt to contribute to the "Uke kids on the block" track :)

Finally got around to ordering the new kitchen today, which involved two separate trips to Ikea (on a Saturday - what were we thinking?!). Still, that's it ordered and paid for, we've just got the simple task of fitting it (ourselves) ahead of us!

Stopped by "Taste Good" for some Chinese takeaway for dinner. Damn that place is nice!
