The view from my desk

I've seen this view a lot this morning, as I've been sitting at my table, working up an application for an 'emerging writer' award. The sun seems to come round this side sooner in the autumn/winter, and it's a pleasing view. I've just looked up the past winners. For the last seven years they have all been female, including the runners up. That made me smile, but it doesn't say men can't enter, so this man will.
