Making Pine Cones

I spotted these on the way home - just like the majority of my Blips - and I was taken with the odd shapes and waxy texture. They will develop into pine cones and I shall enjoy watching them change.

Tomorrow is another holiday here in Germany - Christi Himmelfahrt for anyone needing a snigger - and that has led to all of my colleagues taking a "Brückentag" or bridge day. This means that they have all taken Friday off as well and will enjoy a longer weekend. I, on the other hand, will be in the office, alone. Curse this stupid Probezeit* and the "no holidays" rule.

Still it means that I will be able to arrive early and leave early too. Although it will be a bit strange to go to lunch on my own... I'll cope.
