Acropolis, Athens Greece

Today was the first day of our global team meeting. 21 people from all over Europe mainly and it was a jam packed day.

Started with a 5km run before breakfast with colleague E then got ready for the start of the meeting. I was one of the three organisers / hosts so had to do the welcome session for the team which was nice.

Then, a jam packed day of workshops, etc before wrapping up to go for a guided tour of the area including the Plaka area then leading into the Acropolis.

This was an amazing place with so much history. The guide was so knowledgeable about the history and gods, in particular Athena (who of course Athens is named after), Poseidon and Zeus. There’s a few extras from this area as it was so cool.

We then got taken on a bus to a restaurant about 40!mins away for a fantastic traditional bbq dinner with many rounds and drinks before getting the bus back (bus turned into a very loud singing bus).

A few of us went out for a couple of nightcaps before bed.
