Noisy morning

We’re lucky in the Highlands. Distance will always be a problem if you need to get to hospital quickly, but we have this air ambulance plus two search and rescue helicopters in constant use. This one was in and out three times in the space of 90 minutes.

Meanwhile in May I was smug about moving 9 tons of stone chips in short order. By June I was thinking “you’ve given yourself a hernia there, ho ho“.  By July I was sure, not ho ho. Then the doc thought of other horrid things it might be and scared the willies out of me. Today I had a camera shoved down my throat and, yep, I was right to start with.

Not the best way to spend your birthday. Still, it concentrates the mind.
