Seathwaite

Friday and it hasn't rained today.  This was taken at about 9.30 and gives an indication of what it was like in a valley off Borrowdale.  It was windy, and cool, but there were people about on their way to Sty Head and beyond. The path will take you to Wasdale.  To the right would be Great Gable and roughly straight ahead, if you can see it, is Scawfell.  Not to be confused with Scawfell Pike.
Seathwaite is a hamlet and over the year roughly two metres of rain falls. This being due to high mountains and moisture driven air.
Coming home it was bright and sunny.  I like this type of weather as it makes the scene dramatic.
Happy Friday everyone.
