What a busy day!

Neither of us is feeling well. Marlane has been coughing for around 3 weeks and yesterday I started, but I think I caught it off Buddy, he's been coughing and sneezing the past few days too.
However, it had to be a busy day today. Finished off mopping the floor to get grout dust up, there was very little this morning which was great.
Put the rug down, just realised you can't see that in the photo but I'm sure it will feature at some time.
Dining table and chairs, new 'bucket' chairs (the blue one on the far side of the picture), I was sitting in one looking out over the garden when I took the photo.
Moved the crystal cabinet in with all the glasses and also the tea-trolly, newly painted, by Marlane, in Frenchic Hornblower, as is the card table (folds out to reveal a baize top).
It's all looking really good and we'll have 12 for dinner tomorrow so it is being christened only 3 days after completion.
Apart from that we did a lot of cleaning up from the workmen. It's not their fault but bits of plaster etc. fall off them when they come into the utility to make a cup of tea. We have had tea, coffee and biscuits out there every day for the past 3 weeks! They were very appreciative of it. One of them said that some houses they get told that the side gate is open and that is the last they see of the customer!
And then - "Saturday Night is Mass Night" (anyone remember "Friday night is Music Night" on the radio?), hence a small extra. That is where I sit, reading a book. I was baptised Anglican (Catcholic Church of England) but that was an awfully long time ago!). St Peter's is Roman Catholic but the service is pretty much identical.
