Sparrows

A large flock of birds showed up at my sister’s feeders today, and I enjoyed watching them through the window. It was a very cold and blustery day, and the temperature only reached 28°F (-2°C), so the water in the birdbath froze solid. As soon as we removed the ice, and added fresh water, this pair of House Sparrows (Passer domesticus) came for a drink.
