Going under

Prepped for surgery.
I didn’t even notice going under. Next I knew I was awake, and ravenous.
The procedure went excellently and the surgeon was very pleased.
KC collected me and we got a taxi home.
I’m not too uncomfortable. Pleasantly surprised.
