More Wainwrights

Two more ticks for us today, we set off from the NT car park at Seatoller (£8.50! Good job we got a full days worth!) Lovely weather to Bessy Boot - Wainwright playing mischief here perhaps- he calls this top Rosthwaite Fell, but makes BB the Wainwright- fortunately we were on it! Definitely disagree with him this was a disappointing view! Castle Crag in beautiful light for us
We meet a hail/sleet storm en route to Glaramara - and here Wainwright redeemed himself (phew), a quick look at the book arriving at the rock step and we diverted to the ‘easy’ route A. Another big day, and a good one, our first snow of the year covering the high tops around Helvellyn and this beautiful rainbow. I do so love the atmospherics of the Lakes. 16 Wainwrights to go
