Six Degrees

There was another Tree + Cake event - this time with Alasdair Whyte who was born and brought up in Mull.  Not only does he have an extensive knowledge of Gaelic and the history of Mull, he is also a brilliant story teller and a beautiful singer.  It was certainly a very rich Tree + Cake experience, and well worth putting up with the odd shower.

Had one of those 6 degree of separation experiences on the walk back.  I started talking with a couple of visitors who were staying at Treshnish.  Turns out their daughter's best friend is the woman who employed R on her latest job - an Apple TV production based on The Buchaneers by Edith Wharton.  Talk about a small world.
