Contemplation

Decided to make the most of a sunny afternoon with a walk from Goathland to Beck Hole and Thomason Force.

It is a while since we have done this walk but we’ll worth the ups and downs. As I approached the waterfall I noticed this gentleman sat enjoying the view. He offered to move but I actually liked him in the photo. He told me his girlfriend was in Malta but he preferred to be walking in North Yorkshire and had been out since early morning. The extra shows the bridge in Beck Hole as we walked back, the distinctive architecture in Goathland and the lower part of the river. 

Just back in time to receive a load of logs. A bit more exercise getting them stored.
