Snug and Sheltered

Drove over three hours up north through Spain to visit the Wagon Family again, and actually found them fairly easily this time; it helped that Oriane's phone had connection.

SO lovely to hug them all again, though sorry to miss Mickael, who is working in France, building a sawmill. They'd really like to find a way to earn money where one of them doesn't have to go off for ages, but not easy.

Oriane was willing to cook for us, but admitted that she'd love to go out, so we went to a little restaurant in the nearest village, Villasbuenas de Gata, and must say, hugely impressed with the food (and the price).

Talked about a lot of serious subjects, revelling in being together. A light rain fell the whole time.

Gratefuls:
- the privilege of knowing a woman like Oriane; as Mike said, not many women would stay alone on an isolated hillside with her three girls, living in a wagon like she does
- Mike driving so many hours, and getting us there safely
- churros y chocolate in another small village, La Roca de la Sierra, on a cold morning
