Crested Pigeaons

These pretty Crested Pigeons are usually seen in pairs. These two live in the park just down the road.

I was pleasantly distracted for an hour or so this morning, choosing books in a great bookshop, for two birthdays that are coming up at the weekend. These windows of calm and diversion are like a sigh of relief before facing the world again.
