late spring garden

the best thing about coming up to Saddleworth is that the garden has changed since last time up. Things that were buds before are now flowers.
Some have flowered and are starting wither.

The worst thing about coming up to Saddleworth is that the garden is again full of weeds, which we are obliged to manage. Even so, of course the same observations apply; things that were seedlings before are now vigorous plants. Some have flowered and are starting to wither. 
Others just keep bloody going.
