Thunder lightning and ....

....giant hail stones.
Last night we'd an enormous clap of thunder and lightening about 10pm. It was accompanied by a short sharp burst of large hailstones.
These are the remenants of the hail from our mornings walk. Its been another pretty dreich day but we got a few jobs done around the house.
