Fish ladder

Instead of a weir/dam the re-naturators decided to build a fish ladder. It is much easier for local fish to jump little steps. After all, we don't have salmon here. But the ladder allowed other fish to return.
Whether the nutrias and beavers needed the ladder? Don't think so, they have four feet and hence more possibilities.
