The Fallen Soldier’s Table

We had a beautiful day. It has become obvious we do not have enough freezer space when we stay at the farm for more than a week. We decided to go to town and purchase a small one to supplement the two refrigerators. I had erroneously purchased kids’ socks so we returned them and of course, found a few more items we couldn’t live without (Christmas gifts). But we didn’t stop there. Before we headed back home, we’d been to 8 stores and one restaurant. This Fallen Soldier’s table was at the restaurant. They always bring a lump in my throat. If you are not familiar with this honorable display, the symbols are explained on the plaque. Unfortunately, the background wasn’t optimal so I had to crop it out. We will be having a chicken pot pie for dinner. Sure hope your day was as much fun. Stay safe and healthy.
