The Back Fence

In my zeal to prep for tomorrow's big dinner, I did everything on my list! the sweet potato casserole is ready to go in the oven, the stuffing is assembled and waiting in the pan, cranberry sauce is chopped, pie crust is made (but not the pies--that comes early tomorrow morning). I'm so in the groove that I want to keep doing more--let's mash the potatoes! let's make the gravy! let's just fall over from being in the kitchen all day.

Our Los Angeles family is on the road and due to arrive in a few hours. They got off to a late start because not everyone's jobs are flexible--C had to work til noon.
