Witchy....

A day book ended by Teams meetings, both very positive. The morning one was to discuss proposals for nature recover in the parish of Sutton, one of the smallest in the JCC area in terms of population, but with some keen people and a lot of potential.

The afternoon meeting, which nearly didn't happen because of the organiser's email issues, was discussing and agreeing broader nature recovery proposals along the Whitewater Valley and Ermine Street, prior to putting in an expression of interest for nature recovery funding. It was a really positive meting and hopefully we'll see real progress in this important area.

In between the two meetings I squeezed in a bright and breezy walk to Stonepit Close, where there were some very chilled Highland cattle, wonderful golden-leaved birches and willows and this wonderful Blackening Waxcap, which reminded me of a rather flamboyant witches hat.
