Inspired by a poster

My morning walk acquaintances are all talking about this lost cat. The poster says it all, and there are dozens of them ties to lamp posts along the road from Windermere to Bowness. Apparently the owner is distraught and blames herself for bringing the cat on holiday. I wonder how the story will end. One hears amazing stories of cats finding their way home over great distances.
