Freezing

At 5 am this morning your heating decided to stop working!
It was freezing cold when we got up.
We could not get it back on ........
Claudia came down to give it a try - no luck either ......

She was so kind to phone her heating guy Jürgen and he promised to come over, either today or tomorrow ...
We were very lucky because these days it is super difficult to get a tradesman coming on short notice ....

We left the house at midday to warm up somewhere.
Had a coffee in the Market hall then met Claudia for a soup lunch in Friesen Strasse.
Had a coffee next door then continued walking the Kiez and browsing (warm shops) while keeping and eye on the phone for my case that was due to be delivered today and the heating man.

We visited Denise as I am looking for a new winter jacket but there was nothing that suited.
She showed us her new Wellensteyn winter coat and I fell in love.

Neil pulled me to the second hand shop on Mehringdamm and we found quite a few high quality brand winter jackets - including a few Wellensteyns!
After 6 pm we left the shop with one amazing and like new winter jacket for me. I was very happy!
We later found out that the sales price for the piece was 379 Euros and I got it for whooping 79 Euros! WIN!!

We went back home - the flat was now at 8 degrees ......
While we where in the case arrived - another win!!

We went out agin to have dinner at Mokkabar.
We had a lovely waitress called Socki and the food was awesome.

We got home before midnight. I had a hot tea and we added a more duvets and put the electric heater on Claudia gave us in the morning.

Bed was nice and warm, but our noses stayed cold.

Hoping the heating will be fixed tomorrow ....

Blipping Bergmannstrasse.
