Pitlochry's Christmas Tree Festival takes place this weekend  - a key element is a display of trees from different community groups in the church. There is also a Christmas Fair and a carol concert. 

I spent this afternoon assembling the tree from the Bonfire Committee - it was good fun. It was also interesting see the different trees and the groups they represented.   I look forward to seeing them all tomorrow. 

This morning VC led the discussion at the u3a History Group. The topic was child protection and it provoked a really interesting discussion on how attitudes and practices have changed over the years. 

T is out tonight and so I am looking forward to glass or two of wine and catching up with Grey's Anatomy.
