The eve of the op

Preparations for the hip replacement tomorrow are all finished and the hospital has phoned to check my covid test is clear.  I have to be there for seven o'clock in the morning!  My bag is packed and I am allowed to eat supper which is good and normal. My new bed has arrived just in time and I have been able to get used to it for a few nights.  The OT department has also been with aids and gadgets and blocks for raising chairs etc to the right height ........
