Call the fire brigade!

Rocky the cat doesn't usually climb trees but he was playing hide and seek with me whilst I was getting the washing in and then suddenly scrambled up the apple tree. The bird box is empty and I'm due to clean it out before the new nesting season
He also has a collar with a falconry bell to alert any birds to his presence. Anyway, he was clearly flummoxed as to how to get down - a classic fire brigade rescue situation - but then he started gingerly down the tree trunk and I managed to pluck him off and put him back on terra firma. He retired to his cushion indoors to recover from his escapade and I added the washing to my ironing pile.
