The Bee, The Bug and The Butterfly

Standing in the sunshine, surrounded by stiff green and yellow leaves rustling against each other, breathing in the sweet smell of the loquat blossom, bees buzzing all around, but really, hoping for a red admiral, when, suddenly, one comes swooping in, going from flower to flower inbetween flying off and back again.

Not the best I got of either bee or butterfly, but loved the incoming bee, and the bonus fly on the left.

Gratefuls:
- prayer walking into town, asking for patience yet again
- meeting Ermelinda for coffee; it's her birthday today, but she's too busy to celebrate now (often working until 3am or so); we'll do it later when this job is done
- some lovely post, including a gorgeous thank-you from Julia and Tom sent months ago, and an autograph from the author of A Terrible Kindness to stick in my book, acquired by my sister, Jeanette
